Hi Paul, Ages ago our vacuum cleaner stopped sucking and I couldn't work out what was wrong. I took it to bits and it sucked normally until I screwed the hose back on. I eventually discovered a needle had become wedged in the hose, and all the dust/hair/debris etc had wrapped around the needle causing the blockage. Removed the needle, bingo it was fine! Liz x

the dog hair is still a problem. Think there's something blocking the head of our dyson - if you take it off theres much more suction. going to dismantle it later !
