Hi all, I have had another update on little Alex, he is not doing well, after his op for his perferated apendix, he then had a 3 inch abses on the inside of his op, they had to open him up again to remove that, now last night my sister called to let me know he now has a post op infection, and yes he has got to be opened up fully this time, it is going to be a big op, we are keeping our fingers crossed that he is not too weak for it, as he has lost a lot of weight and is very weak. Sorry it is not better news, but a lot of you have been following this and thought it only fare after your support to fill you in. NEW UPDATE:- Alex is starting to show signs of improvement, they have been able to remove the drainage tubes, and reduce the strenth of his antibiotics, we are hoping he will be home soon, will let you know more when I know more. Hi Speedy So sorry to here about little Alex, hope he soon gets over his next op,one is bad enough. As for hygiene, when ever any of my grandchildren are in I always take domestos wipes and mum wipes the feed trolly, cabinet, bed ect. We use them every day while they are in hospital as a little extra cleaning might help....Love Sheila
