Elton John's middle name is Hercules, but he used to be Reg Dwight. My middle name, after my mother, is Ruth, which I have always liked. My poor mum's middle name is her mother's maiden name, Smoothy. My dad was called William Frederick Randall after his uncles Will, Fred and ... yes you've got the idea. nell |

Thats a good idea!!, its nice to keep family names going, i couldnt have used my mums maiden name though, its Popple lol and my mother-in-law had about 6 she was married several times Love Helenxx |

It is catholic and in the latin countries it is the Virgin Mary that the childred are named after. Normally the first name is Maria followed by a second name and the majority of women are know by there second names. Lindy;-)) |

I know, i had an aunt whose name was Maria, we are from Italian stock!! We had Antonio, Raphel, Vincento, Alphonse, and Maria, I think its to do with Catholics!! it is Mary in england |
