Rather stand in a bucket of cat poo with no shoes or socks , than watch those over-paid ninnies running around a field, chasing a bag of wind, and that goes for most other 'sports'too. Paul

David, so true. LOL My husband will be the first with his hand up tonight and we'll be explaining to him why it's not offside, just wishful thinking! Daisy

Couldn't live without it! Spent many happy hours as a little girl watching footie and cricket on tv with my dad. I feel sure he is still watching it from up above. Luckily hubby feels the same. Maz. XX

Yes Dave, I watched the Chelsea match last night with my youngest son who is a Chelsea supporter and has been for 9 years, for his birthday I took him on a tour of the stadium, very interesting, to night round middle son's to watch Arsenal he has supported them for 13 years, how I love it and son's think I'm cool because I can join in with the conversations and not make a fool of my self. :))) Bev

Hi Sally, Golf - 'A good walk wasted' as someone said. Golf isn't on the TV as much as football and cricket so is easier to avoid but I agree it is mind numbingly boring. You can feel your brain cells dying one by one as they are starved of stimulation. Gwynne
