Marie oh you have made my day hen! Going on from what Marie has said I have obviously met her and what a friend she has turned out to be! She's great! Met others at the Scottish meet and what nice people they all are. Ones you might know are Shaz and Jill Price. What can I say about these lol Shaz is a new found friend and always there for you Jill (part of the terrible trio along with me and Jo from Essex)is a great friend and so funny and we have met a couple of times and get on like a house on fire!! When's our next cuppa Jill? Last but not least have met Jo from Essex . What a laugh we had at Jills at New Year. Jo is lovely and another true friend.

Viv I am sorry, we did go a rather circuitous route to the FRC that day! I promise not to do it again. I've got an article about Abney Park cemetery I ripped out of a magazine - would you like me to send it to you or pass it on when we next meet up for coffee? and have you heard from Margaret recently? nell

Really enjoyed meeting everyone at the London meet. Some I spent more time with than others and would like to have longer chats with many more. Naming certain names but please don't be offended if I miss you out because I really did enjoy meeting all of you. Pink - I feel as though I've known her all my life and she is just as I imagined, funny, warm, sensitive, beautiful and if I were a bloke.....!! lol. Bec is a darling, although I was expecting a blonde and she's a gorgeous brunette! Mags you are great - barking but lovely! Lynda is warm and funny just as I expected, but not quite as regal! Andy oop North - was expecting someone rounder and older and he's gorgeous and such fun and he's coming to see me in Cambridge!!!! Donna - imagined her as a curly brunette and she's a gorgeous blonde and wonderful with it. Am propping up the bar with you next time Donna! Maz (East End) really fun and friendly (not at all what you'd expect from a Spurs supporter!) Gaynor and Rob - both as I imagined them and so warm and friendly. CB - taller than I expected and really fun. Very much looking forward to a longer chat next time. Jim - really great man and loves the beach!! Steedie (and Aaron) - exactly as I imagined them and great fun. Jan and Rick, Jacky, Yvette, Anne, Susie, Viv and anyone else I haven't mentioned. Catch you next time! Daisy

Have met a fair few from here - some will always be a big part of my life. All the Manchester crew - brilliant people - June never ceases to amaze me and the two Brendas - when we all get together its like coming home - you will understand what I mean. Its like a family get together with all your favourite people there even though the people vary at the meets its still so good and friendly Zoe - well - what can I say about her - she knows how we feel about her and our Shelli - as for our Shelli - well , she was one of the first people ever to talk to me on the site and I finally got to meet her last august - she is one of lifes good guys , so kind hearted and a fantastic mum - her kids are great as well even though she told them I was a witch lol And our Susie - and of course Terry - who opened their home to me when I travelled down to the Bucks meet , and to discover that in the distant past that she is a rellie of Pauls - :-)) love them to bits And the sunshine girls - Donna Gaynor and Mags - exactly how I imagined them - warm hearted, smilers and full of joie de vivre Oooh and Len of the Chilterns - and Mary, a true gentleman in every sense of the word - And I know I have missed out naming loads of you - but I have met loads of you and hope to meet even more at the child friendly London meet. And the person I know the best from the boards??? well - I have to say my Paul - lol

Mags, yes, there seemed to be this rumour floating about that Saturday that I was knocking on a bit, you weren't the only one to say that! Funny really when people ask my age and invariably think I'm much younger, not that I'm complaining really, lol. Strange as it may seem but I find this question very difficult to answer. Casting my mind back, I'm not sure if I did arrive there with any pre-conceived ideas about people's personalities - both Manchester & London. I also don't think you can learn a huge amount from just one afternoon, I sometimes think that I come across as being a bit gauche (for want of a better word) at these events but don't know whether that's what other people see. However, from some of those I've met so far, I keep in touch with off the boards, and hope to see again very soon.

Well i have met Frances from Norwich on several occasions, and she is a really friendly lady, as some of you will find on Saturday. I met so many lovely people at the last London meet that i would be here all day if i listed them all , so i will just mention a few. Poor Andy, he will have such a complex at this rate, but he was not at all what anyone expected, lol.....however he is a really nice lad, friendly, good looking and i plan to bring my daughter with me next time...so Andy, start running lol,!!! Gaynor was exactly what i expected, a wonderful lady and all her family were amazing, although i am still hiding from my hubby just how much i saw of some of them, lol. Diana, i expected her to be fun, bubbly and friendly, well she was all that and more, a star in her own right. Steedie and Bec, you were both as i expected, and it was nice to be right, you are both lovely. I didn't really have an opinion on everyone else before the meet, but discovered that Linda is really funny and friendly. Mags from Bristol, what can i say, you are lovely, a really easy person to talk to and great fun. Terry, anyone who has seen the photos from the meet will be aware what a great guy he is, such good fun and a big heart. Anne from Selhurst was really nice, we had quite a lot in common. As for Jacky J, what can i say, such a lovely lady, really friendly and so easy to talk to, and she has a delighful daughter, they both took pity on me as i was all on my own and looked after me really well. Having said all that, every one at the London meet was really nice and to anyone who is unsure about going to one of the meets.... go for it, you will meet some of the nicest people ever and have a great time! Yvette

But now I just might change that!! All the people I have met are just lovely, they all look differnet from what I imagined..... Andy Oop North.... I totally agree with you Mags..... :O)
