do any other members have them? mines is weird!! mines is really tame. is this normal? she hang's around with my dog's and cat's, is she adopting their nature? she comes to call, when i tell her to go bed she goes,. NO i haven't hit the bottle!!!!! |

LOL yes thats her name, could'nt find another name to call her, the neighbours love her to bits, they call her and she gets fed scraps from there house. she's unbelieviably sociable. just wondering if chickens are normally so tame. |

mike, can i pick your brains please. i know the chicken eats pellets, scraps etc and she eats gravel,grit to make the shell, how does she make the egg? how does the egg get inside the shell? how long does it take her to make the egg? puzzling questions which came first chicken or the egg? |

chickens are georgeous,and will react to kindness,and to be spoken to in a quiet voice,the more they are allowed to roam,the happier they become,and a few will follow you around,and actually watch you,as you tend to other animals...dont tell anyone,but ive always named chickens,and they do react to those names in time....roll on july,and i will have some chickens of my own. bryan. |

Our duck used to knock on the back door to come in when it was raining! It would rather be inside in the dry and warm - with the dog! lol We used to have chickens too but they were penned in. I wasn't keen on them and was quite happy to pluck them of all their feathers when we croaked them! lol |

Lol Ws. Thats why my one that pretends its a cat is lucky, I've grown to like it, it makes me laugh, it jumps in a basket when I come in...poor sod is probably thinking amuse him or die! Food is food and before everyone goes oooh cruel, where do you think M&S chickens come from?? lol |
