so what we saying put it in the sink full of clean warm water and we are talking a LAPTOP here hang it out to let water out how long before we can plug power back in it ???? Am I to assume this will work with a dvd player too ?? Paul |

No no no - don't put it IN water, just run water through it. Submerging any electrical item in water is likely to screw it up, but I'm just talking about a short rinse...you can seriously run the keyboard bit under a slow tap, just for a few seconds to rinse the crap out, then lay it face down so any excess water comes straight back out. A bit like when you get coffee in a normal keyboard...same principle. I swear, I have seen it done - twice to the same laptop - and she still uses it! |
