clearly I need to do some research in the field of dogs, I haven't heard of half of these. What heppened to the days when you just had 'a dog', normally a Heinz, or possibly a labrador or an Jack Russell ? |

We've got a Norwegian Buhund, a sort of small, blonde Husky! I love all the Spitz breeds, they are very much under-rated and make good pets on the whole. Love Keeshonds (we've had 3), Elkhounds, Huskies, Malamutes, Finnish Spitz and, of course, Shiba Inus (the group winner at Crufts was a stunner!). Ours is a complete wimp - will bark loudly at the postman (from 20 yards away!) |

There's lots of breeds I like. At the moment we have 2 Löwchens who are great. But my absolute favourite is the Rough Collie - must be all those Lassie films I watched as a kid ! |

Shiba Inu is Japanese. They can kill a bear with one nip on the jugular, so as you can imagine, that is a great attribute. She is the biggest wimp... lol BC. |

Paul...a Cana Corso..is an Italian Cattle dog...very old breed.. BEAUTIFUL..they are, his pic is on the GR pics site.... Very good guard dogs and very loving family dogs .......love him eventhough he pumps a lot LOL Anita :) |
