Don't really mind the make of tea, as long as it's made in a TEAPOT and NOT in the mug/cup (exception is herb or fruit teas which are fine this way)!

Some people swear that tea from a china cup tastes better, a myth i think.

I find that by putting in the milk first i have more control over the colour and strength of the tea, hubby makes tea with water first and it tastes just as good as mine....sometimes.

Unknown Report 21 Apr 2005 00:40

The water should go in first - fact. Think about it... you're supposed to put BOILING water on the tea. If you add the nilk first, then it reduces the heat. I can certainly taste the difference.

Unknown Report 21 Apr 2005 00:28

there was a debate, about milk first,or last, and i think the jury is still out...i put it in last,as i dont like my tea to look white. bryan.

I`m exactly the same Bella. I always put milk in first and my Sgt always has a go saying he can taste difference but he never seems to complain!

Haribo Report 21 Apr 2005 00:24

I put the milk in first and always have, however, my family and friends tell me that this is WRONG, funny that they still drink my tea though.

Kerry

Kerry Report 21 Apr 2005 00:21

Do you guys put the milk in before you put in the water or after? and if you prefer it one way does it really make a difference to the taste?

Haribo Report 21 Apr 2005 00:20

If anybody offers to make me tea then dares to squeeze the bag between their finger and teaspoon i wouldn't drink it uggh disgusting!
