Good morning all. Woke just before six, as fresh as a daisy. Gaynor Bear has had a lovely long sleep and did not wake once during the night. Going to make her a lovely bowl of Porrige and maybe some fruit and honey, for her breakfast. have got to go and buy her some Pink underwear. We forgot her nickers yesturday. Although Nessa did offer us a pair of her Pink thongs. OMG. Lol. We are meeting Pink and Grampa Jim later this afternoon, and shall be going to the Angel of the North to meet Jean in Washington. Where we shall video the handover of Gaynor Bear to Jean. As soon as Nessa and Donna have dragged themselves out of bed, I will get them to let me have all the piccies that they had taken from their phones and get them on GR Photos Page as soon as possible. Morning all. Jenny thanks for a fab day, it was great meeting you all and you are all lovely. I went in the bath when i got home and ended up falling asleep - had nothing to do with all the vodka i sunk im sure :-) Pink, glad you found your hotel in the end and hope you didnt have the same cab driver we had earlier, it took him another 35 mins to get me home after he'd dropped you lot off (should have been 15mins tops). Thanks again for a lovely day and i cant wait to meet up with you all again. |

Hi all Just to say thanks for the terrific day. I was a meet 'virgin' but can thoroughly recommend it to anyone considering whether to go to one. Everybody was really friendly - nothing cliquey about them - and I had a wonderful time putting faces to names. Sorry I didn't get on the boards last night - I was busy removing mangled toenail :0 I can vouch for Ann just catching the train; they were closing the doors when she hopped on - you can't get any closer than that. My journey home was hell as I managed to be surrounded by a variety of football 'supporters' intent on causing havoc. I felt really sorry for the guard and the driver even stopped the train. I was soo grateful for the police presence at Hartlepool station. Next time I'll book a B&B so I can avoid that. Love Beth :) |

Gaynor Bear did not really get arrested. Nessa and Donna had the nerve to ask these four Police Officers if they would mind having their photo taken with Gaynor Bear. One run off but the others joined in the fun, although they made the WPC hold the Pink Ted. Trying to find the one of Grandpa Jim walking up Grainger Street with his England flag wrapped round him. What a laugh we had. Jenny. |
