Cut out ALL ALCHOHOL and Carbohydrates. Walk up and down stairs 30 times a day and around the block twice a day. I lost eight pounds in a week doing this. Too rapid wwweight loss is not good for you so take it slowly and steadily. Exercise is the clue Good Luck -Rose Oh,Keep your mouth closed - flies put on weight

Hi. My son used the cabbage soup diet and it worked very boring but worked quickly(mind you I don't know why he wanted to diet ) told him it was because he laid of the beer LOL. Germaine

I doubt if you will be able to lose so much in such a short time, but you could get a bike and cycle everywhere so that you will burn off some calories and be ready for Centreparcs' cycleways. nell

Paul, my boss tried the south beach diet and it really worked for him. In addition, when my brother was trying to lose weight, he rode his stationary bike for 1 hour a day and lost a LOT of weight. Good luck.

ok so 6 pints = 6 bottles of wine. breakfast, king - legs of lamb, hog roast, chicken. (henry 8th!) lunch. same but less. tea. loaf of bread. i can do that! lol!

Paul, LMHO - The only way you'll lose 2 st in 3 weeks is to cut off your head, arms and legs! You'd lose most by padlocking the fridge, freezer and microwave, then throwing away all the pizza, curry & Chinese delivery flyers by the phone. Cut the landline to your home phone, throw away your mobile and car keys, so you can't go and buy any food, and just drink water from the tap. You'll also weigh less if you wear lightweight clothing and no shoes or jewellery - and have your head shaved! Best of luck, CB >|< X

just been on the net about that soup diet. it says one of the side effects is 'excess gas!' so if you read story in the paper, headline: 'tidal wave in centre parcs sweeps away sunbeds,' its me!! lol!

Everyone I know who has 'crash' dieted has put the weight back on afterwards! A friend did the Atkins Diet and lost loads, but it all went back on, plus more! Good luck anyway, only diet I know that works is: 1. Eat less 2. Exercise more (for ever!!)

My son is a very large man and needs to lose a lot of weight, he lost ten kilo on the soup diet it showed him how much better he is with some weight off, is now on a more balanced diet, it gave him the start he needed.ANNABEL
