Yes Jenny my eldest daughter is a wiz but would not show me how to do anything saying 'I showed you once' and we would end up rowing. She now lives in South Africa so at least there is peace in the house - although I am missing her loads. Carol |

Thanks Jenny, knew I could find other peoples nos. it was just mine that was the problem. Like I said previously not to good with computers still dont know about Gedcom, think that is why I am awash with paperwork. Must go on a course one day, but can't find the time, perhaps when I retire. Regards Carol. |

if you save your gedcom from genes your membership number will be on there along with your surname like smith123456. another trick is if you click on a members name you can see how many names they have in their tree. jenny |

Morning Marion, you are 22945 so that is the lowest I have found so far, just curious how many of us there are or have the scrambled the nos like on 1901 when they realised you could put households together without paying. Regards Carol |

Now we know how to find out membership numbers, does anyone know if they started in high figures as I do not seem to be able to find any below six figures, is there a 1 or 2 out there. Carol |

Hi Val, everyone on here seems to have a handle it seems quite boring to be known by your own name. Don't know if you change it in your account details. Like I said not very good with computers only good at finding lost rellies. Regards Carol. |

I used to wonder why a lot of the threads were filled with nothing to do with the heading, now I know lol. This site remind's me a bit of the film 'The Shining' he was meant to be writing a book and had written nothing, but then he did go mad!! But at least we can all find members numbers'. Marion :~))))))) |
