Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond

Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 5 May 2005 03:37

Reminds me of my fiftieth birthday - told my b/f I had to go and do something the day before my party that I had been promising myself. Turned up at the party with a black rose at the top of my arm. He was amazed and concerned that it might have hurt and was saying to everyone that I was so brave. But..... he was the only one who didn't know that it was just one of those transfers - everyone else was in on the joke. It wasn't till the next day when it started to wear off that he realised he had been well and truly had. Think I will stick to the transfers then I can always change my mind! I'm not that brave.

Gary Report 4 May 2005 22:29

I have around 200, but is difficult to count as they all merge in to one mass, ihave them on my chest, Back , legs, Arms, none on neck or face, but do have them on my hands, which i sometimes regret, had my first one at 12, and before i had left school had about 10 including a large tigers head on my chest, certain sports teacher if caught with a tattoo would scrud your arms with red carbolic soap, till they bled in the mid 70s, would get prison if they did that now.

I have a number of tattoos on my arms, but Not in Chinese writing, ,,,,,why put chinese on your body, when nobody knows what it means. I thought the idea was to let people know the true meanings of your tattoos, unless of course, you`re Chinese. lol Baz

I hate tatoos WITH A VENGEANCE (apologies to all those who have them - but my opinion is that they are disfiguring and ugly - without exception). I was horrified to discover that that my daughter had one done - the minute she reached 18....a horrible black serpent snaking down the middle of her back...if I could have got my hands on that tatooist I'd have had him done for GBH, if the law had allowed). How ridiculous it will look when she is older! And at 23 she regrets it. Ugh!!!! Dee x

Shooting stars have always been a significant symbol in my life. I'd like to have a permanent symbol of this on my body. Sometimes there doesn't need to be a reason. I have my tongue pierced just because I wanted and want to. becx

Hi Emma, mine didn't hurt too much - only the middle one as it was the one on my spine. It just scratched a bit. To be honest I've had 2 children so no other pain can compare to that! Estelle :o)

On the wall where hubby used to do it is a sign which says:- the only difference between people with tattoos and people without is that those with them don't mind....... everyones entitled to their own opinion! theres another sign underneath which says 'names in hearts, sure to part' - think before you ink!!
