What a shame to have such a terrible worry hanging over you when it should be such a happy time. As you say, things have moved on so much from your birth and as the Doctors are aware of maternal history, I am sure your daughter will be well taken care of. Best wishes for you all and enjoy the day!! Another twiglet for your tree. Let us know how it all goes. Jacky xx |

Hello All My daughter is due to go in to hospital on Wednesday (18th) to give birth to our 2nd granddaughter by caesarian section. She is worried about, and we (hubbie and I) are trying to be really positive for her. My only fear is that my own birth was by section, and my mother died 3 weeks after from thrombosis. I know that things have moved on a long way since then (1951), and the medical people have been informed so that they can take all necessary precautions. Still a worry though. Your thoughts and prayers much appreciated. Pauline |
