Hi Pauline I had 2 cesaerians(sp?). First was under general and was fine but took me a while to recover. 2nd was with epidural - was awake and up and about 5 hours afterwards - brilliant! I got to hold him as soon as he was born (i never with 1st one) and recovered very quickly. Good luck and the very best of wishes to you all Vikki xx

Hi Pauline, I can understand your fears--this must be so hard for you given your history. But I'm sure I heard somewhere that Caesarian is now the most common method of birth in the developed world, and I know many many women who have given birth to very healthy babies by Caesar and made a quick (if sore!) recovery afterwards. I am sure you will be very soon telling us about your lovely new grandbaby--I look forward to congratulating you! Love and very best wishes to you and your daughter. Sal.x
