Thank you, Daisy. .................................... The time seems to have gone so quickly. Last Sunday Pink was on her way .... now she has walked that wall! Well done, Pink! Go and have a well-earned break! :-) Joy

I have really mixed emotions right now... Obviously glad the walking has finally come to an end but sad its all over now!! My promise to Gaynor fulfilled and one wall well and truly walked! I am happy to say that all 49 crossed the finish line but only 44 of those people completed every single hour... Some were forced thru sickness and their fear of heights and sheer drops to abondon the trek for an hour or two at some points... I am very proud to say I wasn't one of those people! This morning yet again the Chinese guides lied... It was 1000 steps as a warm up to the climb of the heavenly steps... That are at a 70 degree incline to reach the heavenly tower! We reached that in record time apparently, our guide expected us to finish at 12pm Chinese time and we were actually up there by 11 ish - Daisy you know as your text will tell you! 5 of the trekkers RAN the heavenly steps... Breaking the record by half, and yes even women! No I wasn't one of them!!! :o) I have managed to get an extension to my flight, so I am taking some PINK time and gonna go and see the Terracotta Warriors. So I will chat to you again on FRIDAY when I return! Love to everyone, and once again thank you for some terrific memories! Pink Xx
