Another Middlesbrough one while I think of it is Captain Cooks Square, it's outdoor as opposed to the Cleveland Centre or Hill Street Centre, but it's a main thoroughfare for shoppers. The Green Howards usually have a recruitment stand there on the times I've walked through.

There's Freshney place shopping centre in Grimsby. Depending on what you want to exhibit they hold special themed markets outside that could tie in with your exhibition. As does Cleethorpes next door to Grimsby. Some outdoor some in places like the memorial Hall and the Winter Gardens. Local Council the best place to start enquiries. Mandy

Hi Bec, it depends how small you are talking. There is a small space in the Taunton shopping area that they use for differing purposes. They have had a school band there & a small art exhibition. Does that sound suitable? Vivienne

We have a second shopping mall opening in Norwich in I think Sept 2005 where there are sure to be open areas and everyone will be coming into Norwich to have a look - the main new store there will be Frasers which is the first one in the area. Check out Chapelfield, Norwich - Lendlease are the people who are doing it - they are the people who set up Bluewater Shopping Centre.
