A mining company thinks it may have literally struck gold at its quarry in Stretton, Rutland. The limestone has been found to contain tiny gold flecks at the site run by Goldholme Stone, of Corby Glen, near Grantham in Lincolnshire. Analysis has proved it is the real thing, and experts say it is possible the site could contain larger nuggets. |
