I've just seen this.... Just to clarify things.... I have no objection to people complaining about too many fundraising threads, I can sort of understand it even if GR were benefitting from the publicity!! (please note past tense) but I do object to not being able to thank people publicly!! Two of the threads were THANK YOU's and I'm fairly certain I never mentioned CRUK or Pink Fund in them... I just thanked them stating the amounts of money they raised!! Yes GR did ask for one PINK thread and yes I've had more than one since... so slap me for that!! But with so much drivel on the boards I didn't think it would matter!! I will keep to one PINK FUNDRAISING THREAD in future!! I still think this is personal rather than related to the fundraising!! BUT.... PLEASE - can whoever is emailing whoever, being abusive or accussing people of complaining PLEASE STOP IT!! Do not bring yourselves down to anyone else's level especially when you are attacking the wrong people by the sounds of it!! She and Paul (Tigger) and I have had our differences but I do not wish for either of them to be attacked, especially when She was kind enough to email me this morning declaring her innocence and offering her support. I just know that whoever complained will have to live with themselves and I also know what goes around comes around! Thanks again for supporting me!! Pink xx

No Sheila, it said that I had suspicions. I wasn't pointing the finger at anyone, neither was Bev, and neither was anyone else on this thread.

Well words fail me (for once!!), except l thought that Pink had the go ahead to do this as it was all in connection with Gaynor. The THANK YOU bit is all part of its closing down so to speak. jude sarf wales

I have been sick for a couple of days, so I haven't been on (usually pay a visit in my lunch-hour at work) and seen what has happened until now. I must say I find it hard to believe that someone would complain about Pink, but then again, having seen some of the shenanigins on here, nothing should surprise me anymore. if anyone from this house had done anything to have the thread removed then YES I would own up to it but nobody here has done it . unlike the anon emailer hiding behind his/her monitor Paul

Elaine I disagree that lynch mob mentality would be the result. I've only complained about one thread. I posted on the thread saying that I was complaining. The person who's thread it was discussed it with me and we agreed to disagree. Of course there would be disagreements if people know who has complained but there wouldn't be any more than there are now with people becoming suspicious and paranoid. And as I said, hopefully it would stop people complaining quite so often and without good reason. As Pat said, the boards are in danger of becoming colourless and dull.

Diana, i wish i had the gutts, bottle, stamina, get up in go, that you have. you have done alot for charities, raised much needed money to help with the reasearch, of this awful cruel disease, the list is endless as to what you have done. we need people like you on these boards, DON'T give in to the small minded. they don't know if they'll need help one day!!!! lynnxx seeing red but supporting PINK.

I believe its called confidentiality someone may complain and get a thread removed...can you imagine the hassle, name calling etc that person would get if their name was publishd ? It would be lynch mob city Elaine x

Bev I have complained about threads in the past and recieved a reply that they would not be removing a statement or thread as it not deemed inapropriate enough. GR uses its own intuition when it comes to removing threads . However if many people make a complaint then Gr normally do delete....but then again I still think they use their intuition when it comes to removal. Elaine x

Elaine i for one do not think it was you purely because when it all went off on the tips board you posted on here and told everyone it was you and your reasons. may i also say i admire that, least you have the courage of your convictions Bev
