Hi Cliff, Just read your thread, I heard that comment,when the not guilty verdicts had just been announced,a reporter was interviewing people on the streets of New York. The comment was made by a non-white,all races were asked for their comments,and they all said the same. By the way,I dont find this offensive at all,it was reported on the CNN news channel. regards trish

Cliff Sorry St. Andrew is in the County of Surrey its the Parish that the Capitol Kingston is in. Jamaica is split up into 3 Counties they are named after English ones Cornwall, Middlesex and Surrey. there are loads of English place names. Just had an email from my mate Lloyd a Jamaican in New York he just wrote 'Fe True' but it seems Lloyd thinks you made a political statement as he has said nothing more, so he believes you Cliff, got to laugh, must tell him it was a joke he is a bit serious most times. lol. Cliff, Saw the pun intended and yes thought very good! Our here the blacks have no problem with being called that, and no I have no problem with being called white!! would be nice though if they mentioned I had a tan!! Racism usually comes from the opposite color!! Debs x
