Hi, about the furniture and stuff. If you contact your CAB you can ask if there is a outlet for furniture for people on low income or benefits. We have one here in the city and its not just old trash, some shops give obselete stock and stuff to them. I know a young man in a group I help got a very nice soft for a tenner.

Great news Jay - I am so pleased you have a base again - you can soon go round the charity shops and find furniture - there is always some excellent stuff there and it won't cost so much, then when things are better you can replace it, and give the old stuff back to the charity shop. Think of the money you will save on petrol by walking into work, and you will get fit into the bargain. Now's the time to start thinking of No. 1 and don't take on any more losers. Just enjoy making a second home for your kids to come and stay - they will probably find it fun, as they see what new things you have each week or so, and they can help you decorate cheap furniture with pictures from wrapping paper or paint and stencils for their area. Have a great time and a smashing summer - let us know how you are doing from time to time. Liz
