We have our main meal at lunchtime as we both retired so we both at home. We do our weekly shop on a Wed, & always get a freshly baked crispy french stick which we have with whatever takes our fancy. This week I bought some Brussels pate for hubby, & for me some seafood cocktail. Will have some iceberg lettuce with it some cucumber just to refresh the palette too. Shirley |

Mine's just been cooked for me. Roast chicken and the usual bits and pieces. I wouldn't dare say I would have preferred salad, I'll probably be wearing it then LOL. Jan :-)) |

We are having as the kids call it...Pasta with bits in lol. It's pasta and sauce but I add mushrooms, peppers, onion and garlic. I cut strips of bacon to spinkle on top. The kids pick out all the bits! Oh and Garlic Bread. Wouldn't mind so much, they are 16 and 18 lol. Maria |

Sounds lovely Paul, What a great idea Suzy, wish I'd check in earlier.... My lot have asked for mince and tatties ( in this heat!!!) what they're getting is homemade burgers in mushroom sauce, and if they're good (and peel the spuds while I'm on here ) they'll get mashed potatoes too... M x |
