Linen Report 24 Jun 2005 17:16

What have I missed? I just got in from work & this is the first thing I see. I thought all this sillyness had stopped, what is the matter with these people. Don't they have anything better to do than spoil other peoples fun. There are a few threads on here that don't interest me & I think some of your humour is a little on the bawdy side for me but I just don't read them. What bothers me is why do the Genes team listen to them. Vivienne

It was supposedly (and humerously) a list of what you cannot discuss. But mention was made of a certain item of ladies clothing which comes in various sizes from extremely large to very, very tiny and when that small is usually called the same word as a strip of leather (rhymes with wrong). I am not saying that was what did it but I offer it as a possibility. This is what happens when censorship is taken to extremes. (That should kill this thread off now, too).

Genes only delete if someone complains and that someone doesn't even have to be a member remember? And it is a weekend so beware the trolls. Ann glos

The trouble here is that big brother and sister are watching, if they are not somebody will report you for having a little bit of fun and trying to get away from the bitterness on the board and putting it in the past.I posted a thread last week about the people of Hiroshima forgiving the pilot who dropped the bomb on them! Yet people on here are holding grudges for small misdemenours(spelling). If people dont like the jokey threads dont look at them.I dont look at threads that I dont fancy. Davex

TinaTheCheshirePussyCat Report 24 Jun 2005 17:05

Definitely no critisism, Joy. I have just reread the rules and they state: We will withdraw any material which appears to breach these rules, or to bring the service into disrepute - whether based on information received from Members or others, or our own determination. Note the word 'appears'. This is subjective. They can remove anything they like. The rules are so wide and so imprecise that, effectively, it would be possible to object to every thread I have ever read. I think I am losing the will to live.

If people are enjoying themselves all the more reason for the kill-joys of the self-appointed thought police to complain. Gwynne (grammar police)
