Thanks for your message of support. Ring your Mum; you won't worry her (that's what Mums are for!!) She will want to make sure you're ok; can you go & see her if she's near you? Please see someone - you need to talk to an expert in trauma, I can't imagine how appalling it was for you. Take lots of care, (((((((((HUGS)))))))))) Joan. |

Hi Steph Glad you finally managed to get some sleep last night, but being at home on your own all day will only make you keep going over it all in your head, is there any chance you could get out in the fresh air, go for a walk, some exercise would probably do you the world of good. If I was closer to you I'd come over and go with you. Take care of yourself Steedie. Carolyn |

Hi Steph As a qualified counsellor I have to say you have made a positive step by letting people know how you are feeling at this moment! An experience such as yesterdays events affects each person differently. Shock can be a slow process which stirs lots of emotions. You may find you will be asking yourself lots of questions, the whys, whats, if's and but's for example are all part of a healthy process to recovery. Dont sit in silence and suffer Steph, ask for professional help if you feel you really need to! Under the circumstances, Im sure if you contacted your GP he/she would arrange a quick appointment with a counsellor, would be worth giving it a try! Best wishes Lib x |

Hi Steedie Is there a neighbour you could just drop in on and have a cuppa and a chin wag with & take your mind off it all ? Or call the samaratians to talk it all through? Thinking of you Much happiness Debi |
