I know what it's like to be hoping, as you are. The Army used to ask for preferred postings, then send folk anywhere but! I used to only believe that we'd be going somewhere, when we actually moved in. Once we even had MFO boxes on their way to UK, while we had been sent to Cyprus, -but that was great anyway. thought's for Jamie getting the ACIO (Army Careers Information Officers) post as some of you who know me well will understand this means alot to us for him to get this new posting to Liverpool as it means we will be back in the UK where I will be my happiest. Susiebabes, No luck with the ACIO post in liverpool, I spoke to john & he reckoned because it was such a high profile job there were loads & loads of applicants. So i asked him if there were any lower profile ones coming up he told me there was Preston, Exeter, Aberdeen & Nottingham which are all pretty low profile!
