ALPHABET POEM. Again I am at the hospital Being scanned and having ECG'S Carefully the nurses scan my heart while Doctors read my results. this is just an Example of when I go to the hospital For I have a heart problem and I Give blood too ,My Heart has made my life difficult I think that it is Just and a privilege. As I pull back the curtain the Kind doctor tells me that the Lastic in my heart has gone, no need to fear My mum was happy Not because I'm ill Operation in the future ...! Pleased to go home Queued for a drink Rushed to the car Seen my own heart... no worries To make me sad. hope you Understand but I'm still a Victim of heart disease Wasn't the worst day of my life X-Ray was cool You would have liked it. Now I'm feeling tired time for bed ZZZZZZZZZ______ She wrote this 3 years ago just before she went to Alder Hey hospital to have cardiac catherterisation as treatment for Aortic Stenosis She now needs this treatment again and also may be having valve replacement for her other leaking valves She is being admitted to Alder Hey next week for this. Thanks Bren----------------- Thanks for your messages and prayers Amanda is a bright cheery 14year old who is 5ft 9 .(she doesn't fit the picture for children with her complaint they are usually undersized) She rang today to see if we could go early so that we can have a Pub Lunch before she goes to the Hospital. We had a great time last week trying on all the posh hats in the House of Fraser |
