You're all off to the park - and I'm here trying to chase my two monkeys into bed after a hard week at school. Enjoy the sun! Sue (in NZ) |

I did wonder about that Andy, as i have seen two different reports online. One says free children under 11, the other says all children under 11 travel free after 1 September 2005 !!!! So just in case take some change :-) See you all tomorrow :-) Yvette |

Hi guys, just a message to pass onto you from Shelli, who isn't able to post at the moment. She says that those of you with kids under 11 can travel free on London buses, so no ticket purchase necessary. Hope that's useful to some of you. Cheers... |

Ok slight change of plan........ We WILL be there, but not in time to meet you all at the station :-( I couldn't get tickets for the time i wanted, so will be getting a later train, and getting into Liverpool Street Station at 12:24. I am assuming the 205 runs regularly, so will jump on the first one along and meet you at the park. Yvette |

Maz, I've just got your message. We've been on holiday for the last couple of weeks and I admit I had completely forgotten about tomorrow. I'm not going to be able to make it I'm afraid. I'm working and the mum of the little boy I'm looking after doesn't want me to take him to London!?! Hope you all have a great time. Sue |

Hi Maz, Don't forget I'll be there in spirit for a virtual picnic - just like I was for the Norfolk meet. And maybe those dozens of East End ancestors of mine will be there in spirit too - in the nicest possible way, of course! Have a wonderful time. Sue (in NZ) -where it's 11.09pm on the 25th August - yay, 4 months to Christmas!) |
