My first was induced at 10am had my daughter at 24 minutes past 4pm 2nd child 1 hr from pain coming to delivering him went my self 3rd child from pain to delivering 15mins, after waters broke took 5mins 4th child induced had him at 9.40pm took most of day except when my waters broke took 10min

First one, 41 hours, with a forceps delivery, weight 7lbs.8ozs. Second, 25 minutes weight the same. I Kid You Not. Linda

1st was Kimberley-Paige - 6 hrs 6lb 11 1/2oz 2nd was Mackenzie-Leigh 30 minutes 6lb 13oz 3rd was Robyn-Madison 1hr 7lb 11oz Susie xx

40 hrs with the one & only! she weighed 8lbs 1 oz. Was back labour all the way & she pushed the bladder to one side so couldnt get passed. Left me with weak bladder & a hydrocele.so not very good if want to GOOOOOOOOOOOOO. But despite that we did want another child ,but it never happened. All good things in one parcel!!!! Shirley

1st baby waters broke on my way back from an antenatal class! 14 hours 55 minutes of sheer torture for 3 shifts of midwife. When he was born I was so knackered, if they'd said they were going to put him in the bin I would have agreed, but one look and I was smitten. 6lb 14 oz of gorgeous baby. 2nd baby induced, took about 3 hours 20 minutes, pain was intense towards the end, but between contractions there was no pain - unlike first effort - so felt quite happy when baby popped out 6lb60z looking like a little old monkey! I always said the main difference between labours was after the first one I thought 'Thank God that's over, now I can die' and after the second 'Thank God that's over, now I can have a cup of tea'. But I must admit 2nd time round was much better, it was less painful, quicker AND I knew I wasn't going to be doing it a third time! nell

I was in labour for 33 hours. My son John was 7lbs 6oz - that was 24 years ago tomorrow. Annexx

2 weeks with first child 3 hours with second child! Maz x

16hrs with number one he was 9lb 6ozs 14hrs with 2nd he was 11 lb 4ozs then I said no way no more

From waters going with all of mine:- 1st was about 6 hours, 2nd less than an hour, youngest was about 4 hours Sarah, xxx

4 hours with first, she was 7lb 5 oz my second was 29 hours and weighed 6lb 12oz he just couldnt make his mind up if he was arriving or not and yeh still indicisive

Been in labour all my voting life!! Oh sorry get it now.....can't remember exactly I was induced with the first one...so not that long but not nice!! Second one eventually had to be induced again...a day and a night.....can't remember time! Jacquie xxxx
