Paul, I remember missing out on seeing Muse, Coldplay & Stereophonics play in Dusseldorf (where I was living 4 years ago) on Easter weekend, as I decided to come back to Blighty for the long weekend. Been a bit of a small regret missing out on that one. Where I live at present is a bit of a gig wilderness, unfortunately. I forgot to add R.E.M, they played a free gig in Cologne square to the first 1000 people who got there on the day. Got there very early and spent the day sat in the sun amongst the crowd until the band played in the evening.

Andy - Muse ? now you're talking ! brilliant band. I saw Radiohead too, in support of REM in 95 at the MK Bowl, they weren't that well know at the time though.

Disappointed that we didn't get tickets to see Coldplay this year - but when they went on release we'd just paid out for U2 tickets and REM tickets and booked a holiday and I just couldn't stretch to it. Maybe next time.
