oh, and i did go and see bon jovi on the 'new jersey' tour wasn't a fan but took my little sis for her b'day...............i was very impressed. Aerosmith on their 'pump' tour were very good. Iron maiden, brum odeon,great....really good venue and great stage show. Faith no more, wolverhampton, absolute chaos, stage diving all night...fantastic gig... Def lepperd, N.E.C. absolute crap...... Rush....twice.N.E.C.......probably the best musicians i have ever seen.........gobsmacked!! Nick |

I went with my sister to see David Bowie some years ago at the MK Bowl. Brilliant! Think it was the serious moonlight tour. My favourite place to go these days is a pub just down the road from me. They have live music on every day apart from xmas day. www.springheadpub*co.uk My favourites are The Beach Boys Inc and they're on next month! |

I saw David Bowie in his Glass Spider Tour and I thought he was pants! If I ever meet him I'll demand my money back. But I have also seen great concerts by Jethro Tull, Joan Armatrading, Paul Young. I was made to accompany my brother-in-law to a Chris De Burgh concert - before Lady in Red was around - and I have to admit that though it wasn't my kind of music, he did put on a good show and worked hard - unlike Mr Bowie, who looked like he was bored and could hardly be bothered to go through the motions. nell |

nick I think we would get on well. Love faith no more. Hubby loves Neil Peart out of Rush. He plays the drums and he is one of his heroes as well as john bonham of Zeppelin. louise |

And Neil Peart IS god.........i've never seen anyone better..... Nick |

hubby has just bought a red sparkle drumkit the same as Neil Pearts. A drum workshop - not quite as big though and he can't turn round on stage like Peart lol. His rock band were fortunate enough to support 'the damned' last october at the winter gardens, ventnor on the isle of wight. It was mainly the original line-up. Captain sensible had a girls school uniform on. louise |

i saw the damned twice......1st time at malvern winter gardens(just up road from me) with the ruts, who were great.........in 1978 and again in 1980 in leeds....liked their early stuff....thought they sold out a bit.. My mate used to copy pearts kit every time he changed it, he cud play me any rush song i chose. He played at the N.E.C. recently when rush played their 30th anniversary gig, they set up a load of rush covers bands in another hall, so i'm told, and the band met them all.
