Well, we knew everyday could change things......a CT scan on Tuesday told us that Lyn does have severe brain damage.....the worst fears coming true. She is now out of the drugged sleep and no longer fitting, but unable to breathe alone. The Doctors are saying, if she can breath alone, they will put her on a normal ward, from there, she will either go home (impossibel for her hubby as he must work) or go into a home. The extent of the damage means she will need 24/7 care and we have all but lost her. Her brain just isnt registering anything, as her hubby said, the lights are on. no ones there. Its tragic. If Lyn knew how she is right now and what her future holds, she would ask to die. |

How very sad Donna, for you and all her family and friends. I hadn't seen this before as I was on holiday at the time. I do hope that Lyn and her family will be able to find some kind of peace in the days ahead. Chrissie x |

Having read what you have written about Lynns attitude to life, it does seem very very tragic that she'll have to go thru even more, even though she probably wont know anything about it. It sounds like a desperate situation- which to an extend it isnt Lynn thats going thru - its those , including you, around her. Realistically , and tragic though it is, it sounds as though perhaps she doesn't have long for this world. Thinking of you. Jess x |
