I used to work in a well known High Street Opticians, one day an irate customer came in, threw his glasses at me and started shouting at me at the top of his voice, he was so horrible I just burst into tears. I now have a 'reply' to people who are rude to me. 'Are you always this rude or do I just inspire you?' It usually makes them stop and think about it. Also, a good line for someone who tells 'tall tales' is 'What colour is the sky in your world?'. Jubletroop |

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Don't do what I do - do what I say! (I used to say that one to my son). Well, I'll go to the end of our gate (Lancashire saying). Viv - in Lancs we say you dont have to be mad to work here but it helps. Kay from Lancs. |
