PS You can stick them in the washing machine and dry them on the radiator or in the airing cupboard. |

Hi Jess Oh what would life be like without my slippers. The first thing I do when I go in the house is change into my slippers. I have a few pair but have some that are falling to bits that are my very very favourite. I love my feet to feel comfy. It get's very hot here in the summer so usually walk around inside without slippers. But I have an old pair to walk around when I am hanging washing as it is too hot to stand on my pavers without something on feet. Hope your tooth or gum is feeling much better Regards Jackie |

No, I actually bought a pair of bright red fat furry ones a few months back when I thought I may have to go into hospital - but now Ralph the puppy has them (and very nice he looks too) |

Jess I agree Slipper sox are not in the same league. You've got to be able to slip into and out of slippers at will... with no effort of bending to pull up sox. You can't dash to rescue the washing from the line on a rainy day either. Gwyn |

Theres nothing like from coming home from work and putting your slippers on 'pure heaven' I have blue ones for going outside and fluffy purple ones for inside. Yvonne |

I have 8 or 9 pairs, 1 of which are kept permanently in the car in case I go anywhere I can wear them ie my mums. My latest pair are like the furry fashion boots that are about at the minute, they are fantastic and keep your feet really warm, really well made and only cost me £2 from a shop in Great Yarmouth a month ago. |

I wear a pair of slip-on trainers about the house, that way when the window cleaner or such like calls, I don't feel I have to hide my feet when answering the door. Also, they will withstand trips outside to the dustbin etc much better than slippers. Liz x |

Lots of slipper wearing in this part of Kent. At grandson's primary school they all change into slippers once they get get inside school, - and change back each breaktime into normal shoes for outdoor play. My mother in law doesn't want her and f-in-l to wear slippers as it 'makes us look old'. They are 84 and 87. |
