Love all trees but especially like Rowan for its berries.

Don't have a favourite, but my un-favourite is the Horse Chestnut, as children and some of their foolish parents throw large sticks, iron bars, fence posts, up to bring the conkers down. We have a row of them on the opposite side of our road, and I can hear the missiles landing at present. The problem is that they not only make a mess off the road and damage cars, the missiles often stick in the tree and when we get a high wind they are liable to come down on some dog-walker. David

For me it has to be the good old English Oak. Although I am a tree person and would be hard pressed to say which was my 2nd favourite.

I don't think I've got a favourite really. As I was reading through the list I kept thinking oh yes I love that too & that one. There's a Sycamore on my way home from work that will share some energy with me when I'm feeling really tired & my grandson is called Rowan so they have a special place. An Oak tree in full leaf is beautiful to look at & many years ago one of the sunday papers used to publish a map of the Kent Orchards in spring & that was breathtaking. No can't pick a favourite, like my children, I love them all but in different ways. Vivienne
