It doesn't help that they have picked really emotional songs in the background!!

hiya girls , glad you have been in tears as well. my godddddddddd i havent stopped. even hubbys been crying. in his words 'my eyes are sweating'. What strikes me the most they are all loveing families, not shy to show there emotions. i like a few of them but poor trever god bless the lad x

Evening All! It's not just me that sits and cries over this programme, then? I though I was a bit strange!! I'm lucky that hubby works Sat nights, so can blub to my hearts content in private! Can I ask if the 'emotional' ones are mothers? My girls love the program, but they don't cry. I wonder if it's the 'mother' in me, that makes me feel for them all!? I can't believe that Simon put the girl band through over either of the other 2 boy bands! I thought of those were better than the one he put through. Debbie

Erm, confession time folks. Erm, who got through and who didn't? I gather 'Electric' Chico got through (pillock for putting his life at risk there). I know the young blond boy with glasses didn't get through. Hows about the coloured bin-man (who I thought has a golden voice)? And the coloured girl with oodles of personality? Oh - and the mum-of-one. Sorry, don't know the names. Didn't see anything of the groups, as we were eating dindins at the time. x

Hi Glenys, Bit hard to reply properly as I still can't remember all their names, either. Yes, the bin man got thru', the young mum didn't, but the girl from last year (Chinai?) did. The boy band Fourtunes? got through, the others didn't. Journey South are through (the 2 northern brothers). The Irish boy is thru' and the other 2 guys in Lois's group got thru, both the young boys (Trevor & James?) didn't. Hope this makes sense. Debbie

Thanks Debbie, you're a pal. That Irish lad - did he remind anyone of that lad from last year? You know, the rocker? Forgotten his name, but he was very popular. Looked very much like this one; perhaps this one was copying last year's ......... ooh, can't remember his name!

Tabby!!! Yes, thanks Wendy. That was really bugging me. I had a vague recollection that it was a short name, but that's all. Yes, him. Ah, Sharon did have a soft spot for him, didn't she.

Deborah Report 8 Oct 2005 22:58

Hi Glenys & Wendy, Ooops, think I might have caused confusion in my reply. The 'Irish lad' that got through, was the one in Louis' group, unbelievably, the Irish chap in Sharon's group was given the boot!!! I though he was really good. Sorry for the mix-up Debbie

Elaine Report 8 Oct 2005 23:03

I'M ALL FOR 'FORTUNE'. THEY ARE BRILL!! I PICKED THE WINNERS LAST YEAR G4 (EVEN THOUGH THEY CAME 2ND, THEY STILL 'WON'). I'M GOING FOR 2 YEARS RUNNING NOW.

Glenys the Menace!

Glenys the Menace! Report 8 Oct 2005 23:16

Thank you for clearing that up, Debbie. x Elaine, didn't see the groups so couldn't comment on that, lol. But I really liked G4 last year, too. x

George Report 8 Oct 2005 23:21

Sharon should not have let Chico thru!! I think Joanne should have gone through instead. Its a shame Louis did'nt put Trevor through as I think he could have won. I hope Trevor, James & Alexandra will audition again next year as they are brilliant young singers.
