Nellie - NO I can't believe that, pan drops into liquidation impossible can we start a petition to get them back, what else has gone please?? macaroons? coconut ice? Oh! the shock I can't get over it. Better have some tablet Mmmmmmmmm much better. That Scottish sweet tooth, alas all the family are like that and all my Eng DIL/SIL think its dreadful poor them Norah x

Have just made some tablet anyone like some?? Mmmm! its delicious won't have any left when my sons' come up tomorrow funny some of their partners think its too sweet, can't understand it. As for pan drops haven't heard of them for years. My dad always had a quarter in his pocket Norah x

Tablet, Tablet is the traditional Scottish Fudge, made from very much the same ingredients as Fudge but it should be crisp and moist at the same time.

Lucky Tatties: These are Minty fondant covered in Cinnamon, now you might ask what the lucky bit is, well it used to be that you gat a small toy in the centre of the Tattie. Not any more, can’t have you choking now can we?
