I've just read everyone's post's and would put about 3/4 of them on my favourites list but would have to add the following: Driving Miss Daisy - Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman. Apollo 13 - Lost count of times I've watched it. Pretty Woman - We can always dream. Sleepless in Seattle - Probably one of my top ten. When Harry met Sally - Close to the top. The Pelican Brief - Denzel Washignton - Yummy Eye Candy Love Actually - Makes me really homesick. Can anyone spot my favourite Actors/Actresses? LOL Christine. P.s. Someone mentioned the new Wallace and Gromit movie. Saw it last weekend. Go See It. |

Joan - it's subtitles (which I prefer to dubbing - can't remember for sure, but think CTHD was dubbed?) but the film is just stunning visually and a good story - hope you like it! Maz. XX |

Yes I've seen Kill Bill 2, preferred the first one though. Have you seen Sin City ? Superb, if very OTT. Haven't watched Crouching... have it on DVD, have never got round to watching it ! (I'm much more into films than Sharon unfortunately) Mention of Seven Brides.. reminds me of a film I watched with my dad when I was a kid - 'the quiet man' - excellent film. |

Almost Famous is a film about a 15yr old boy who manages to get himself hired as a writer for Rolling Stone magazine and goes on the road with a (fictitious) band... it's a 'coming of age' type film. Semi-autobiographical based on the experiences of the writer/director Cameron Crow. The band is based on Led Zep (I think). Great performances, great story, great music and the beautiful Kate Hudson. Have a look here for more details... http://www.imdb(.)com/title/tt0181875/ |
