Love it! It's delicious on hot buttered toast, a real comfort food. My grandaughter introduced me to Marmite and cucumber sandwiches, try them they're scrummy! For breakfast I usually have Dairylea and Marmite on toast - mmmmmm! Think I'll just go and make some Marmite toast! Sue xx |

My Mum always gave my son a big jar for Christmas and when she died ,he was quite hurt that I didn't carry on!!(He was 41yr) !! I started again and even took two large jars out to him in US last month! Jay |

Love it!! Just had a thought...... Nigella Lawson made marmite butter last week on UKTV Food!! Mix butter with spoonful of marmite and chill It spreads much easier and its up to you how much you use!! (and you can add other stuff like chilli powder!!) Brill for kids who like marmite sarnies!! Yummy scrummy ! Have some most nights, as a snack before bed. Keeps the evil spirits away at night !!!!!!!! Kids hate the smell of it, but son was brave enough to taste a morsal the other night. He turned his nose up and then said .........' I don't like it, BUT, it's not as bad as everyone makes it out .......' My ex, walks out the room if he see's it in the fridge, so now I know how to get rid of him, when I can't be doing with him !! It has its good points ! Elaine ;-) |
