Gray, I thought everybody would know Aunt Sally...perhaps it is just a LIverpool thing. After all we did have the first laundry ( I think!!). I used to get mine in Crown Street, on my way home from school. It was 6d or 4d if you took your own jar! Happy days. Beryl x |

MY NAN'S SCOUSE! :-) She made some today but couldn't be bothered going up to visit so had Cook bring some back with her. Waited hours for this. Worth it though. |

I used to buy Aunt Sally at the chandelers (spelling?) my mum used it to wash the floor. You asked the man for a bit of wire, made it into a circle, dipped it into the Aunt Sally and blew lovely coloured bubbles. Please, please can I have some? Beryl |
