we got to the hospital early, she was spoken to bout the operation, had her name tags put on ..then someone from the operating team came to speak to her and because she hasnt had a bad bout of tonsilitus since october they dont want to do it they say its a painful operation with lots of blood and risk of infection plus the danger of having a general anthesthetic so they wud rather not do it unles she realy needs it so we r home now and becki is eating as much food as possible..........lol she has an open appointment so if she gets tonsilitus again they will then do the operation many thanx to everyone who has wished us well plus all the pms and emails lou and becki xxxx

Think that's good news! :0) It's actually quite ironic... I seem to have developed a throat infection today (feels like tonsillitis)... yet I don't have any tonsils!!!! lol Sending my love to you and Becki (and the boys) Becx

Lou Try looking into homeopathy as a treatment for tonsilitis. Try this site: http://www.savetonsils(.)com/homtrt.htm Remove brackets. It is important to take her to see a qualified Homeopath for the proper prescription though. Good luck. :0) Joan xxxxx

Lou, I'm ashamed to say I kept skipping this thread thinking I'd come back to it, but I kept forgetting. Anyway, best wishes to Becki. x
