Liked the programme but who is in charge of the soundtrack. The music is so loud that you can't hear what's going on half the time. Keith

Despite his initial astonishment that anyone should want to know about their family history, Jeremy Paxman obviously found it very interesting and extremely humbling and emotional. Thought it was a good start to what looks like another good series. And yes Em, I wish I were famous too! lol Daisy

I was a bit disappointed they never found him any family links through his grandfather's brother or gr grand fathers family or his gr gran's family as they did in the first series

Brilliant program but must agree they make it look so easy ;; Tips board take note;; now you know why so many come on thinking easy peasy and get stuck and have to ask for basic help;; They should make a program telling all the steps to take and how to find help ect ;; Hold on that will follow on a Videa/DVD not daft these TV peeps;;

Hello Vivienne Just think it was really bad how they showed the bit at Bradford register office. Nothing about how to look up the refs or anything.

To be fair we don't know how long they took with the prep & the programme is only edited highlights. The problem is that people who don't have any experience, see that & think that is all there is to it. Vivienne

I wanna know how come he can walk into a register office and ask for and get two deaths cert simply by giving their names and the dates of death.... sometime between 1881 and 1891!!!!!!! Makes it look SOOOOOOOO easy.

I think they should run a comp. for some non-celeb to make a programme tracing their ancestors. We'd all go in for it wouldn't we? r maybe not! Cheers Allie

I nearly turned over when I first heard arrogant Paxman talking but he has been so humbled, I'm finding it very interesting. Vivienne

turned it over after a few minuets, did not like Paxmans attitude, as with the last series, rubbish, why pay a fee to the famous to do some thing they have no interest in, why not choose a gratefull unkown.

Another program on BBC4 tonight called family ties about family tree as well

I loved the last series.....wish they would do my family tree for me. Oh i wish i was famous!!!!! will be watching with pen and paper for tips and ideas! Em xx
