Is it a bird? is it a plane? Report 28 Jan 2006 23:47

Paul - I wasn't suggesting *everyone* whines... but I have had one or two people lately saying they can't wait for things (and not in the excited sense of, ooh! I can't wait to see so and so!). I had one guy saying (in response to my suggestion about LDS records) that he'd ordered the film but couldn;t be bothered to wait the 4 weeks for it to be shipped! I mean come on! Whats 4 weeks??? Some people have to wait 6 months to a year for important, life changing surgery on the NHS!

Has anybody been watching that new series 'Supernatural' on ITV ?? IT is seriously creepy!!! :0) Joan

ah now I think WHINE is a bit unfair. I've asked for lookups before, but I've also done them for other people. There's nothing wrong with a little help here and there. I do agree however that you do come across people who expect everything on a plate for them.

I've been watching the tarantino episode of CSI- getting myself geared up for the new series, sad or what?!

Is it a bird? is it a plane? Report 28 Jan 2006 23:42

Paul - I'm too hard up to do mine and I refuse to whine on the Records Office board for people to do lookups for me. I can be patient and wait til I'm next visiting family in the area to visit the appropriate record office/library.
