Yes Levi and who is the only one who calls you by your new name? Yes, me and I think it really suits you. My Hubby is a Paul too, he thinks his parents just couldn't be bothered to think of a better name for him as he was the youngest, because with his surname he only has eight letters in total, I have that many in one of my christian names. M.

Mine gets spelt wrong a lot and said wrong a lot which is annoying and its out of fashion now so shows my age - its Marion with an O! Middle name is my mum's name - I try to keep that one VERY quiet. Maz. XX ps my dad wanted to call me Sylvia and I would've been ...... Paul if I'd been a boy! Mum hates names being shortened.

Isn't it funny how most people seem to dislike their own name but like otehr peoples ? I like Rach[a]el, Rebecca, and Catherine At least with Catherine, you have various options/contractions - Cathy, Cath etc (OK, I can't actuallt think of a third one lol) Imagine being stuck as Paul all your life lol

Bec

Bec Report 1 Feb 2006 12:12

It's taken me a while but yes, I do now like my name. In fact I'm starting to prefer it to Bec... think it would be a bit confusing if I reverted back to Rebecca though! Becx

My Great grand mother was Hilda Kathleen (she would be 106 if she was still with us, and her daughter is Kathleen) and the other Great grandmother on that side of the family was Ida Lucy. I quite like the names but they seem a bit old fashioned now.
