I was born in Sale Cottage Hospital in the days when mothers had to stay in for a fortnight. My mother was ready to come home the same day I was born so was climbing the walls after 2 weeks! She had my sister at home! My two were born at Stone Park Maternity Hospital, Beckenham - now retirement flats. Janice

I was born at home and delivered by the doctor. My older sister had also been born at home. My own children, a daughter and then twin sons were born in hospital. I'm jolly glad they were....I had problems with both deliveries. Viv

I'm a hospital baby as is my brother - we were bothe born at Caerphilly Miners District Hospital. Mum was born at St Jameses Hospital in Tredegar. Dad was born in his grandmother's frount room / parler. I believe his sister was born in hospital as my nan was told not to have another child after my dad - silly madam had 2 after dad including my aunt (sadly the 2nd boy was prem - 7mths gestation - and died minutes after birth but I think he may have been registered as stillborm).

I was born in the British Hospital For Mothers & Baby's in Woolwich Se London. I made a contact on here with a cousin & we found we were born in the same hospital one day apart, so, its poss our Mothers were in the same ward.. He is from my paternal side & after my grandad died in 1911 my gran cut herself off from his family ,so we never knew anyone connected to my grandfathers family. Shirley
