I am 94 yrs old and live at the Local Community Home for the Aged.My family has long since passed away and I rarely have visitors. As a result i have very limited contact with the outside world. This makes your gift especially welcome. My roomate Maggie Cook has had her own radio for as long as I have know her. She listens to it all the time, though usually with an earplug or the volume turned down so low that I cant hear it. For some reason, she has never wanted to share it, last Sunday while listening to her gospel programs, she accidentally knocked it over and it smashed into pieces and caused her to cry. It was so sad. Fortunately, I had my new radio, Knowing this Maggie asked if she could listen to mine. I told her to F**K Off God Bless You, Sincerely --Edna Johnson Bye Bye Shaz

OK Wattlers, I need your help . . . . When the Joodles is allowed to get out of hospital, I have asked her to come over and stay with me for a few days so I can play mother hen and feed her up on chicken soup. Guess what . . . she has a BBQ on the weekend she doesn't want to miss and other social events on the go . . . So I am asking you all to gang up on her with me, I dont want her taking two steps forward and three back . . . . Had a good day in Geelong today with mum and sister we were very cheeky and went through an apartment for sale on the beachfront. Absolutely beautiful, 3bed ans study with large entertainment balcony and double lock up garage. Im going to try to convince OH we need it to retire to.........only problem could be the $900,000 price tag...lol Freezing in Melb now, going to put some soup on, back later Jude2

It's freezing here in Mudgee, too. Just heard from OH, who advised there was snow on the road at Blackheath! BBRRRRR. Might just leave the aircon on tonight! I'll pop back in later. Just waiting for a man to arrive with my two advanced trees for the courtyard. Yippee Lew Lew xxx

Hi again Soup all ready to eat, Dannielle got home from school, found out what was for tea and I got the biggest cuddle, anyone would have thought I gave her $1000, she had to be the taster and said it was yummy. Joodles sending healing hugs your way. I know what it is like as I had pneumonia last year, I was only in A&E overnight, hoping your stay is also only short. Pam welcome to the nuthouse, oops sorry the Wattleclub, but then again its the same thing lol. I am down the other end of Aus to you, way down on the island of Tasmania. I have been here on this site for only just under 2 years, but these are a great bunch of people and any of us will help if we can. Cheers Sue
