Hello folks We've had a great day. Had a good visit with my niece and her family then we headed off to Favourite Nephew's. Unfortunately there was no chardy :((( but a couple of bottles of VERY nice Merlot :)))) Don't ya just luv spending time with rels? I do...I think myself very lucky to be so close to my nieces and nephew. Rebs....sorry you are not feeling the best. It's a pity you couldn't go to the wedding. A nice social occaision like that is always good for the soul. Healing thoughts on their way to you. Joodles...how are the mouth ulcers? Mary...nothing I can add to the sage advice already given by the Wonderful Wattlers. Don't let the pickyman get to you. Coffee time. I'll check in before bed. love Trifley X

Evening Wattlers Well I am back, the throat isnt much better, not through the singing but all the yelling I was doing, so it serves me right, but I can live with it as it helped the team win finally pmsl Laurie I have had time to catch up on the thread after I had coffee and tea, I was last in Sydney in about 1978 as a teenager with my parents and I am sure we went to places but I cant remember much only we stayed out at Lane Cove Caravan park and then we caught a bus then train into the city. So I will leave it in your capable hands on where we go for lunch etc, one thing that I suppose everyone would like to see is the Opera House, but as for anything else???? Well I will be up early in the morning to see if Australia lose their match in the Soccer and if they do I will be straight on net waiting for the cheap tickets to go on sale. Cheers Sue

Evening Wattlers. Rebs, are you okay? I'm a bit worried about you, girl. SuzyQ, you're right. It's only 10 hours drive from the Gold Coast to Mudgee via Moree. Good road (except for the last bit from Dubbo to Mudgee!!!) Don't worry about being rude about Solicitors, Mary. Terry and I know that most of them are a bunch of a**eholes! We've been dealing with them every day for 26 to 44 years!! Good one, Tassie. How's the voice? Laurie, the Manly Meet is a good idea. Just let me know the date. We usually stay at the Quay, so I'm up for anything. The little fishies have settled in well. The pond in close to the house (wraps around the dining room) and they look very happy to be out of the tank and into a loving home. Quote of the Day - 'Does My Fat Ass Make my Ass Look Fat?' I am suprised we haven't had a singing Tassie Devil on here yet, maybe she is still out there singing !!!! We have just had a big walk down along the beach, and it was amazing how many people were out there on the beach playing games, or just walking - nearly as many as on a hot summers day. Hi all thanks Laurie and Ray well we found that route on a map and that's how we go so wish us luck peeps Butterfly please can you sign your name at the bottom of messages instead of Butterfly can't keep calling you Butterfly , Mary hope you realise I didn't want to alarm you but one doesn't know these days are different arent they , also tell him to go jump if makes you an offer agent probably told him you want a quick sale my advise is never ever let your agent know as they are all b rogues akin to car salesmen and dare I say some solicitors sorry Terry and Lew but you know some of them are too I bet, we told the bloke when we moved here we didn't want another house in Melb 50 times but he kept saying I will sell your place a bit cheaper but I will get the one you like a bit cheaper for you too . We had told him we already had this place but he wouldnt listen and the final straw was when he rang and said Ive sold your house we were asking at that time $159,000 and he said yes I got $139 .000 for it truly I said naughty words to him and hung up and he rang back and said to Mike your wife is giving me a hard time , could you believe him and and guess what we banned him from our house and we sold it following week for the price we asked for it, got to keep going peeps but will be back later if you are online Barb and Tony hello and byeeee to all love Lara

Hi guys.. and gals..OH its only gals now our man has flown the coop..just in case Tony is watching while waiting for his plane to take off,, sorry Tony.. Laurie.. I am happy with your suggestion about coming to Manly as I wont have to get out of bed so early..LOL..I am only worried about those that have a distance to travel..whatever is decided is OK by me..A suitable venue in Manly is something I cant think of ..Most of the clubs I know are outside Manly and mean more travel. There are a couple of Hotels but they are a bit pricy..If we still go to the Casino we could get back to Circular Quay by ferry which goes under the bridge and train peeps could catch their trains from there..A lot depends on Suzys plane times..I am happy to do whatever is decided. Hi Mary - yes I was up with the crows or whatever - 6.00am. Almost back to normal now, b*****dy back plays up if I work standing for too long (good excuse to sit down) .. I think I told you last week than when I iron I sit down every 10-15 mins or so. .. I was in the middle of having osteo treatment for all this happened, so it will be good to get back to more treatment. Mary - everyone including me - has told you not to sell to that picky guy. .. He is bound to want the price to drop -- don't budge PLEASE. .. He's probably a developer or something with grandiose ideas. .. Fingers crossed still. Jood
