Trifley . . . the jellybean is number 6 . . . I think she takes after my mum in more than just name . . . mum had 10 of us !!! I really admire Krissy, she is an amazing mum, bundled all the fam up in the Pajero in January and moved from WA to Bathurst, so her boys could get to know their rellies (even tho none of us live in Bathurst lol) poor things must really be feeling the difference in temp at this time of year. Helps that she has an OH that is just as good at being a Dad as she is at being a mum! Really am off to exchange battery this time . . luv Laurie

Lew dear, you can keep your little pink pill - that was the one that zonked me out last week when the lovely Ray nearly had to break the door down as I had the chain on !! pmsl you should have seen his face when I opened up in my best 'I just woke up look' ! I think the Joodles is still OK for the Casino . . . just the extra bits over the harbour that she didn't have enough hours in the day for I think! Let us know Joodles, or has this dreaded bug wrung you out more than you have owned up to ??? Got a big hot pot on the stove, lots of garlic, doing a good job on the sinus just smelling it! Joodles started me on photos this morning, so I have had a big clean out of the puter . . . have had a lovely time sorting them. Now I have to shut down my puter and slip up the road and get a new battery - just found a recall notice on my model! so catch you later when I am all powered up again cheers luv Laurie

Afternoon Wattlers Do you have days where you cant seem to get interested in anything????? Well I am having one of those days. It is cold outside, I had my Mum and Dad over this morning and after they left I went to the P.O. and for my walk, then I came back, had a look on the boards, got some lunch, played a game on puta, had a look on here again, now I am sitting pondering what I feel like doing next, but I havent found anything that I really felt like doing. Shazz, David always says if it aint broke dont fix it so we have only got as far as being engaged :-( So yes I have to live in sin. As for why I am REALLY coming to Sydney let me think????? I hate big crowds, fast pace of life, Trains, underground tunnels, I have trouble understand the accents of people who are not about 2nd gen Aussies or more (hoping to herself that it sounded politically correct), MMMMMM must be just to enjoy the company of other Wattlers :-)))))) Rebs hope you are ok and starting to nip the bug in the b**t. Cheers Sue

Okay, surgery's open. All those sickies line up for your medication. Laurie, take this hot pink pill for those sinuses. Jood, here's a pretty red and black one for the ulcers. Rebs, this purple one will fix whatever ails you. Billie and Dixie - line up as well. Dr Lew also has a degree in veterinary medicine and will bulk bill. Now, I suggest you all snuggle into bed. No, no, not all together you clowns. Each to her own bed! And take your medication with a glass of Baileys! Mmmmmmm Dr Lew, MD x

For Mary Subject: SHOULD CHILDREN WITNESS CHILDBIRTH? >> > Due to a power outage, only one paramedic responded to the calll. The house was very, very dark, so the paramedic asked athleen, a 3-year-old girl, to hold a flashlight high over her Mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby. Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked. Heidi pushed and pushed, and after a little while Connor was born. The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom. Connor began to cry. The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed 3-year old what she thought about what she had just witnessed. Kathleen quickly responded, 'He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place...smack his a**e again!' Shazz xx

Morning Wattlers, well it was morning when I started reading Hmpff well I never, and heres me thinking I was the quiet little mouse, I dont go round making a spectacle of myself lol, Mary certainly has put a kaiwash on that hasnt she, hehe, You be very careful with that sneaky man Mary, if he does come up with any findings make sure he puts it in writing and then you have it checked out and stick to your guns, if he wants it badley enough hell pay the asking price Oh well here goes mary hehehe A guy gets on a plane and finds himself seated next to a cute blonde. He immediately turns to her and makes his move. 'You know, I've heard that flights will go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger. So let's talk.' The blonde had just opened a book but she closes it and says 'What would you like to discuss?' He says 'How about nuclear power?' 'OK' says the blonde. 'That could be an interesting topic. But let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff.....grass. Yet the deer excretes little pellets, the cow turns out a flat patty, and the horse produces muffins of dried poop. Why do you suppose that is?' The guy is dumbfounded. Finally he replies, 'I haven't the slightest idea.' 'So tell me,' says the blonde, 'How is it that you feel qualified to talk about nuclear power when you don't know S**t?' Laurie, sounds like a good idea, whatever majority wishes and is easier Hi SuzyQ, lucky you only having to put a cardi on now, its freezing down here, especially after leaving all that nice warm weather up north Hi there Rebs, sorry your not feeling well still, get better soon Aw Lew, just think if they were all drowned at birth, youd have no juicy titbits on the ex wifey and life would be just that little less exciting he he Vonny missed why youd said you would meet at Joods place, youd have to pass by my place first, please enlightem me as I have missed about twenty pages of waffling Hello Leah, nice to see you on board again, looking forward to seeing you again, how is your daughter, is she well, hope your having a great time in the NT Lara, happy travelling in your new van, and big hug for Billy, hell be fine mate and HELLO Mike Oh Dear looks like we another cheeky little peep on board namely Janet/Butterly Laurie take it your wont be going to archives this morning with your sinus, keep warm and I think you might need some hot toddys/or reds instead of oodles of cuppas Hi Vonny visitors gone yet? ~~~Hz by the River~ Report 19 Jun 2006 04:08

Happy Monday Afternoon to all, Sun shining but cold here today, just had a good weekend sorting new computer desk and finally starting to empty spare room. Didn't watch the soccer but sounds like it was a good showing from our side, and the atmosphere very exciting with the fans enjoying each other which is the main thing. Sound like the dreaded lurgies are going around a bit, keep gargling everyone!! Thankfully we're OK, have to be, this week is busy with school production on Thurs and Fri nights, dress rehearsal tonight, and then on Sat night I'm taking DD14 to see Bell Shakespeare Coy do Merchant of Venice, we're really looking forward to that. Couldn't find a house-selling joke for Mary, but did find the following lawyer one (forgive me Lew LOL !) Southern Grandmas Lawyers should never ask a Southern grandma a question if they aren't prepared for the answer. In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman, to the stand. he approached her and asked, 'Mrs Jones, do you know me?' She responded, 'Why yes, I do know you Mr Williams. I've known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you havn't the brains to realise you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.' The lawyer was stunned! Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know the defence attorney?' She again replied, 'Why yes, I do. I've known Mr Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practise is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.' The defence attorney almost died. The judge asked both counsellors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said, 'If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you to the electric chair.' ~~~~~~~see you all later ~~~~~~~ Hz
