Morning everyone :-) Donna ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) We're here to listen if you want to talk. Sandra have a lovely weekend :-) Mary enjoy your trip to Canberra :-) SuzyQ hope you're feeling better re: meds. As for mammograms they don't offer them to women under the age of 60 in this country unless there is a history of breast cancer in the family. Thankfully there isn't in mine. Dr Lew and Dr Trifley setting up a clinic together aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooooooooooo pmsl ;-pp Anna hope Dixie get better soon. Btw I can do bacon butties but Yorkshire puds are beyond my limited culinary skills lolol. Jude3 and Devily Happy Anniversary to you and your respective partners/husbands. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~to all~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Juliexx

Have booked Ken's favourite Thai restaurant for dinner but he doesn't know yet so ssshhhhh. Anna don't know about Trifley's taste in sherry but Chestnut Teal is a very pleasant drop -- of course I only use it for Asian recipes lol. (thats if there is any left to cook with) ((((((( hugs))))))) to Donna - laughter is the best medicine so come and overdose with us , plus we do have 2 docs on standby - I'll try to get back later - still have a mountain of work to do before I go home - I hate the end of the financial year its a pain in the rear! ~~~~~~~~~~~~ to everyone jude 3

Afternoon Wattlers It has taken me ages to read all the threads - good grief you lot can waffle! And Yvette - looks as if you are just as big a waffler as the rest of us. Welcome to the club! Donna sending you hugs (((((((((((((mwah)))))))))))))). Don't hesitate to talk to us if you are feeling down - sometimes it just helps to talk about things and share your worries with others and you know we don't mind. I wonder how the mini Wattle meet up is going - no doubt we'll catch up with all the gossip later! Had a lovely walk and break up lunch at a country pub with a log fire going - roast dinner and hot apple pie. Winter is no good for my waistline - did I hear you all say 'What waistline?' There were 30 of us so it was a very social occasion with lots of laughs. Katherine finished school this arvo and is now on holidays. She won't know her final results until her report card comes but it is all looking good. She lacks confidence in Maths and was not feeling well on the exam day but looks as if she will get a B so she is really thrilled about that. (Her school has the A,B,C,D,E marking scale) Poor little Dixie is still not eating - I'm feeding her puree and juice with a syringe and she laps it up.Poor little mite - things are not looking good. She is the black and white piggy on my picture page. Sandra - sounds as if you are going to have a great birthday - enjoy! And many happy wishes from me. Trifley, the only words on the MM website are the Hot flush ones - I remembered the 'down at Bunnings' one simply because it is so typical of my OH! You never did tell me the name of that plonk that you swill - is it Autumn Brown? Vonny - hope your OH is feeling better. I trust you are waiting on him hand and foot because you know how sick men get. SuzyQ, I hope you are feeling better today. Take care. Hi Cat - it's just as well you have a hide as thick as a rhinoceros or you would never speak to us again. We do really luv ya. Of course you do realise that when we all visit the old country, we will be banging on your door for bacon butties or Yorkshire Pud or whatever other strange things you poms eat.!! No word from Tony or Lara - if you guys can read this - Heeelllooooooo! Happy holidays. Tony - have you been farkling yet??? Hi to everyone else - Lew, Jood, Laurie, Shazz, Princess DIY, Jill Jill, Pammy, Devly, Gwenda, Rebs, Mary, Wilson, Heather, Jude in Melbourne, Lyn - oh my gosh, there's so many of us, If I have forgotton anyone, please forgive as I often have CRAFT moments you know. Luv Anna Devly - you snuck in whilst I was typing - Happy Anniversary - is it 4 years? Enjoy the cheesecake - they are just yummy. It's a cold night so a good night to cuddle up in bed...!!!!! Afternoon All All you getting rain over there and we are still waiting for it. Although it has been cloudy and threatening rain all day. Well I've had another busy day, shopping, bill paying, done a bit of Gene work and found the grave and in turn the date of death of my Dads half sister. I also stopped at the cheesecake shop to get some cheesecake for a special treat tonight, David loves them and as we are saving madly for Sydney, it is just something little for our anniversary, David is taking me to Casino tomorrow night for tea. Anna loved the song, but I think I might have to have a word to Tony when he gets back, as I aint from Hobart and Lonnie fits into the song just as well lol. Shazz now I know have mentioned about my eyes, one being brown and the other gold, and I have never seen Cat in Hat with a brown and gold hat pmsl. Oooh hang on a min, Sydney is Red and White, the colour of the Cat's hat, you just want me to feel as if I fit in with the crowd pmsl. Sandra Hope you have a great Day tomorrow for your birthday. You share the date with Davids father. Welcome to the Wattlers group Yvette, I have been a member for 2 years in Sept, and I do enjoy talking on here, they are such friendly people, althought a lot of what they talk about goes straight over my head pmsl. As my name hints at I am from the beautiful island state. I am not sure if someone has told you how to change your name as yet but if not, you go into My account details, enter your password and then for your first name you can change to whatever you would like and then for your last name you put something else or just a dot if you may like to have just your first name or the one you made up, then you need to click on save and come to the thread and add a post to see what it looks like you can always go back and change it again. Cheers Sue

Hi Yvette, Just go into my account details on the left and change it from there. I think you will have to put something in the surname, maybe just a full stop. You will have to get details from the others to get the 'bling'. You need the character map for that. A bit beyond my brain power at the moment. Luv SuzyQ

hi girlies, just got back from doing everything BUT the shopping. tea & toast to get back in the mood again. far out , i wish the rain would just rack off completely. my other half has hung out the washing, probably still be there on the weekend trying to dry. i have accu weather for shellharbour and it reckons the rain is off. background... i've been a member of gr for about 16 months now. i love it although i've never used these chat options. what i've missed out on. usually i don't have enough time. I've been working minimal hours for the last 4 weeks and have another 3 to go before madness hits my life. told them all to enjoy me while they can. how do you change your name up the top, even just to eliminate surname.

Good afternoon Wattlers, I think we are all getting a bit down with the dismal days. I know we need the rain, but it would be nice to get it all over in a couple of days, and then get back to the sunshine. Never happy are we. I have had a couple of bad days with the new meds. I had a bit of a hypo yesterday ( very low blood sugar ), and had to have a bit of a rest. But I am much better today. Sandra Happy birthday for tomorrow, I hope you have a great week end away. You got one of the good SIL. I'm not much into House, only watched it once, maybe I should take another look. Is it on at the same time as 24? Love that programme. It would appear that no one really cares about the Nicole/Keith wedding, but does anyone think they are a perfect match. Maybe she just has a bad taste in men. Just my opinion. I think we had better get organised for a meet with Donna, she sounds like she needs some wattle therapy. I have emailed her for some times. I have had a word with Trifley girls, and we are now the official Wattle voice of the mammogram and we will pester until we are certain that every one, and that incudes you Vonny, gets one. No excuses, it is very important. And that includes those of you under 50. Head count please and no cheating. Mary, I think your 'picky man' is playing games with you. He will probably wait a couple of weeks and if you haven't sold will make you a silly offer. Don't weaken. Lew, have you got any more news for us. Just imagine how that poor girl will feel to have her mother reject her twice. Sorry about Terry's hearing aids, could he have a bionic ear? If he has trouble watching TV, get him some uhf ear phones. My dad has some and he loves them. Can hear everything they are saying. He can even hear when he goes to the toilet with them on. Make sure you get the uhf ones. Cost about $80.00 from Dick Smiths . Hope the girls meeting for lunch had a good time. Forgot to welcome Yvette, Hello, I am the sane one from Queensland. Everyone else, have a great rest of the day Luv SuzyQ
