Evening Wattlers It's 6:30pm...as dark as the inside of a dead cow and STILL pppping down rain! ~~~~~~waves to Cat person, Anna, Laurie, Joodles, Dr Lew, SuzyQ, Devely, Jude3, Vonny and Jude2. it's good to hear you are all happy. Looks as if the rain gods are in a good mood and drenching various parts of this great land. There are probably some kids in Mudgee who are scared...never having seen rain..pmsl. It seems to have been a quiet day on the thread today.....see...we do have lives outside the Wattlers..heee heee I got an email this afternoon finalising time & place for a family mini meet. One cousin I've never met and the other one I haven't seen since I was 3 years old. These two are VERY into FH. Not like me....lol. They are both doing a 'one name' search and seem to speak a foreign language in there emails to me. The work I've done ...my parents sides and Graeme's parents sides is paultry compared with the type of stuff they do. It should be an interesting afternoon. I have a dog on one side of me and the cat on the other....I think it's time for their dinner. I'll be back. Trifley X

Evening All, it's absolutely p**sing down in the Mudgee, Hooray. The sound of the rain on the tin roof is just bliss. Hubby's cooking chicken satay sticks for dinner, I'm enjoying a glass of chardy and all is right with the world. Happy anniversary to those celebrating. Brilliant photos of the Narellan mini-meet. Hi all, home again and very very tired - after a 2 hr spirt of bending plastic (prior that, visit to osteopath and chest specialist) .. No I didnt buy anything exciting really, yet I had to flash the plastic card a bit. Lots of $$$'s :-(( Stupid x-ray man frightened me with his interpretation of my x-ray - I had myself in hospital with a stent, an operation, heart tablets - the works. I'd heard before this guy wasnt all that crash hot with x-rays, needless to say, after a breathing test and a heart test, the specialist pronounced me ok - no more visits. .. All I have to do now is lead a healthy life - no no, thats wrong, eat healthy food!!!!! Jude2 - I had a good nights sleep last night (I prayed for one!) - only had to get up once instead of every hour on the hour. Sandra, David, Tassie, Jude 3 - many happy's. Eleven minutes into the news and we are still talking socceroos. .. Even the soldiers in Iraq were watching it. .. Its so exciting - makes you proud to be an Aussie. Hope you've all had a nice day. .. Dont know how long I will stay awake. .. Im not actually sleepy, just bodily tired (does that make sense?) !! Speaking of mists/fogs whatever it was. I went down the mountain the side way today (3 hairpin bends) - and to my surprise at the top before I headed down, the mist was sooo thick, I couldnt see more than 10 feet in front of me. Time - 11.00am in the morning!!!!!!!!! Yet as I rounded a few bends it became clear again. .. Weird!!! I had my height measured today, and I confidentally said 5'6½ but no :-(( I've shrunk more, I'm only 5'5'. .. I'm sure I was 5'8' once. .. Must stand up straighter!!! Jood

Good afternoon all :) Birthday wishes to the birthday girl for today and anniversary blessings to Tassie and David for yesterday. Sunday 12 noon sounds fine with me Mary - I'll ring you Sat sometime to confirm. Oh yes Yvette, VERY addictive. Had my three students here for their lesson this morning and we practiced the letter R and used recipes to make 'rum balls' (without the rum:) Then I made them lunch - miso soup (out of a packet) and home-made pizzas. It's the last lesson today before a three week break so I wanted it to be special. Has started raining here so Mary might not be still enthusiastic about the weather!! Maybe we could do a series of mini-meets in each state for our first anniversary and then do a Sydney bash with Tassie for the Wattle Thread birthday :) party on Donna - big hugs :) ~~~~~~~~~Vonny

Hi I am back and all are now gone..Daughter and son in law to the airport, Twins to school and eldest G/daughter to work.at Woden Hospital..She has a part time job in the cafe as she is doing y12 this year..I am having to learn my way arond Canberra as we havent been comming down to often lately and it all goes around in circles... Thanks Jood for the lovely pick.. what a lovely mob you are. I am going to meet Gwenda at 12 noon outside Big W. on Sunday after she finishes work and Vonny if you can meet us to it would be lovely.We could perhaps have a bite to eat at the center and catch up..Ring me if any change to plans.. Very dull here today but not to cold..Probably due to the cloud cover..a few showers but mostely dry. I Had a lazy day today and done nothing yet, although I did have a friend drop in for a coffee on the way to her ten pin bowling meet. Laurie, thanks for the card, loved it. Gwenda, yes we did love the cheesecake and also left a piece for tonights supper, and I did enjoy the email about footy teams being women lol. I suppose we will have to watch the footy tonight as Davids team is playing Rebs team, If you are reading this Rebs goodluck and unless its a draw, at least one of you will get your 3rd win for the season lol. Sandra hope you have a great birthday and tell me are you going to go for the home team Sydney at the footy, or are you going to cheer on Tony's team ???
