Ohhh Gwenda, you’re up earlier than me!!!! Thank you for your little ditty ! I am at work unfortunately, BUT never mind, last night I had a gorgeous evening at the Performing Arts Centre attending a Bell Shakespeare Coy production of Merchant of Venice with my darling D14, it was excellent and best of all, she had a great time and came home qouth’ing and thee’ing and generally getting right into the language, so I was very satisfied. She wanted to know how you get a job with Bell, and marvelled at how Portia remembered all those lines! I have to be up early tomorrow to, to put DD14 on the bus with 36 school choir mates heading off to NZ for a week. So today I will be supervising the packing. Next weekend, I will have Sunday off – taking OH to Melb on Sat arvo, then we’ll meet DD back from NZ on Sunday night at Tullamarine, and stay in Melb for a shopping day on Monday. OK got to go, it’s taken me two hours to type this in between custyomers! Morning all - bewdiful sunny day here today after a storm last night. Everything so crisp and clear. Can see for miles along the waterfront and the Glasshouse Mountains look spectacular. Gee look what happens when your OH cooks coddled eggs on toast for breakky. That pluddy cat !!!!!!!! we will have to be on the lookout for the next one lol. Morning Lew keep that 303 at the ready. Jood it still sounds a nice place, my parents live on a high part of our suburb and they get lovely mountain views, and I grew up loving the mountains, my Nan and Pop lived right at the foot of the Western Tiers over here, nothing better than a snow capped mountain view. As for sirens yes we always get the fire, police and ambulances go past here too as we are on a main arterial road, and since they changed the sirens I cant tell the difference neither. Cheers Sue

No Tassie, I'm a street and a railway line away from the main highway, and whether I go up or down the mtn, I get superb views both ways. .. I like it best when I'm in someone else's car, or a bus, as I can really look around (can't do that on a highway when you are driving! lol) - I never get tired of looking at the mountains, they are magnificent and stretch for miles and miles. .. I just feel free here - not clogged in by traffic and traffic lights. Having said that, Im still only a street away from the bush on the other side. .. Good to have the fire brigade nearby, but as someone once said, when you need them, they are probably out on a job. .. I'm lucky the police are just under the subway, and so is the ambulance. .. I often hear the sirens going, and still don't know if its ambulance, police, or fire!!!! Lew - hope you have a good day also, and Heather, Happy birthday. Jood
